Our teen/adult class is a well rounded Martial Arts program that incorporates kicking and hand techniques, grappling, throws, blocks, and sweeps as well as different weapon styles. This very diversified style of Martial Arts is called Shendo Goju Ryu. It is a combination of Karate, Kung Fu, Jujitsu, Aikido, Judo, and Brazilian Jujitsu. We also offer a Tai Chi class for those wishing to improve balance, flexibility, circulation, proper breathing and strengthen internal organs. Although these Martial arts are centuries old, our curriculum is always evolving to keep pace with new ideas in the industry. This class will challenge adults and teens, no matter what the fitness level or age. It teaches the basic fundamentals of self-defense while providing a strong cardiovascular workout. This 90 minute workout will strengthen your mind and body helping to relieve stress and tension. Students leave this class feeling a sense of pride in themselves knowing they are on their journey to Black Belt Excellence.
